pigs are our favourite

Two pig tales.

Loli.

I am a true fan of oinks and show the highest respect by appreciating every part of the animal; the ears, skin, brain, stomach, liver, tongue, spleen right up to the tail. That's me!

My love for pork is legendary. It is a known fact that these delicacies are reserved for my fancy in every family occasion. So blessed and so spoilt right?

This crazy love for pork can probably be attributed to the fact that in our big happy family, we have relations running pig farms and my very own respected papa, fondly known as Uncle Meng to most, who made a decent living from selling pork noodles.

So pork, is thick in my blood.

Lia.

I have one vivid childhood memory which kept me away from pork! When I was 13 years old, I visited a friend's home, whose father was an avid hunter. They had strange tools and knives in the kitchen, so I explored. In the deep freezer I found a big, black furred, wild boar head complete with canine teeth protruding from its mouth! Since then I passed on any pork dishes.

Later in life, I was blessed with a baby boy who had a voracious appetite for all things pork. So I had to learn to cook pork and experimented with inventive and inspiring recipes. Slowly but surely, I got bitten by the love for pork again. As with all loves, you start obsessing about it until one day I decided that I needed to do something about my pork passion.

... and so originated the idea of Snout.

Together, we make Snout a home for pork lovers and people who genuinely love to serve and be served with great food and fantastic company.

Only three loves brought us together:

Cooking.

Pork.

Laughter.

These three loves remain our main ingredients.
